The sprocket is incorporated in the replaceable sprocket nose assembly of the bar and carries the saw chain from the top to the bottom of the bar. This not only reduces wear, but also enables the bar nose to be made considerably narrower. This narrow nose construction is especially advantageous in limbing, boring and other applications where extensive use is made of the bar nose. The narrow nose also helps to reduce kickback tendencies. This guide bar is designed for the most demanding professional jobs and is ideal for high-performance professional woodcutting, felling and bucking with high-powered, heavy-duty saws.
