The PL2140 product can be used as to maintain a battery in storage. If it detects battery sulfation, the charger can also go into battery recondition mode to rejuvenate a battery. The PL2140 adds a special Recovery Mode feature, which allows the operator to determine how the charger reacts to power outages. Smart clamp technology only sends power to the output leads when a proper connection is made with a battery.
